DABE is excited to present our 2023 Summer Event on artificial Intelligence (AI). Over the past year, AI has topped headlines and captured the attention of employers and employees alike. AI poses both threat and opportunity for growth across a number of industries, offering cost and time savings through automation and streamlined services as well as a means for innovation. AI also threatens to make some jobs obsolete and may increase reliance on (sometime faulty) technology. What does the future hold for AI and what does AI hold for the future?

We’ll explore these and other considerations of the economics and economic impacts of AI at the DABE summer event, featuring Professor Yosef Bonaparte. Heavy appetizers and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be provided.

Professor Yosef Bonaparte is a Professor of Finance at the University of Colorado-Denver. His main research interests include portfolio choice and asset pricing. In particular, he examines how political climate and political affiliation influence portfolio choice and the stock market in general. His work is cited in the top media outlets in the world, including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, ABC, CNBC, MarketWatch, and at a top Israeli cable program.
