Join us for an international perspective on Trump’s proposed tariffs and the relationship between those tariffs, international currency valuations, and inflation. Please note that this virtual-only luncheon will be held at 3PM to best accommodate our two time zones.
We are honored to be joined by Michael Knox, Chief Economist and Director of Strategy for Morgans Financial Limited, a privately owned stockbroking firm located in Australia. Michael is known for producing easily digestible economic commentary on the global economy.
Prior to joining Morgans in 1988, he was an Australian Trade Commissioner serving in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.Michael has served on many Queensland Government advisory committees. From 2003 to 2012, he was Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the School of Economics and Finance at the Queensland University of Technology. He has served as a Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce (1997 to 2007) and as President of the Economic Society of Australia (Qld), Inc. (2009 to 2013).
Knox is consistently recognized by the Australian Financial Review (AFR) as one of the Top Ten economic forecasters in Australia.
