Ian Lange will discuss the future of the mineral and energy markets. Ian is the Director of the Mineral and Energy Economics program and an Associate Professor in the Division of Economics and Business at the Colorado School of Mines. He recently returned to Mines after serving as Senior Economist for Energy at the Council of Economic Advisers for both the Biden and Trump administrations. Other previously held positions include the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Department of Energy, and University of Stirling in the UK.
