Taryn Edwards

Ms. Edwards joined Saunders Construction as a Senior Vice President in 2011. In this role, she oversees project development and procurement including the management of marketing and business development efforts. She also works closely with the Preconstruction, Operations, Field Services, and Concrete divisions on integration and process improvements for the growth of the company. Prior to joining Saunders Construction, Ms. Edwards worked for Hensel Phelps for almost 23 years.

Ms. Edwards was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Denver Branch Board of Directors in 2017. She previously served as president of the Associated General Contractors and as director of Governor Bill Ritter’s Jobs Cabinet. She is an active member of the Association of General Contractors, Women’s Forum of Colorado, and the Denver Metro Chamber. She was named one of the 25 most Powerful Women in Colorado in 2015 by the Colorado Women’s Chamber and the Colorado Real Estate Women named her as one of its 2013 Women of Influence. She was also named to the list of Women of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of America.
