Glenn Furton - Hobbes & Homelessness: What do we know about those that are unhoused?

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023 the Denver Association of Business Economists will welcome Glenn Furton to provide a constitutional economist's perspective on homelessness. Dr. Furton is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Business at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He completed my postdoctoral research under the supervision of the Foundations of the Market Economy Program and the Classical Liberal Institute at New York University. He received his B.S. in Business with a minor in Economics from The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University as a graduate research fellow under the Free Market Institute. Dr. Furton's research interests include the political economy of public health and environmental economics, constitutional political economy, public choice, law and economics, welfare economics, and Austrian economics. His dissertation examined The Economics of Reform from a constitutional political economy perspective.
