Ryan Gedney, Senior Economist with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, will discuss labor trends in Colorado and present a 2- and 10-year forecast by industry, occupation, and metropolitan area in the state.

The luncheon will take place in the first floor conference room of the Denver Webb Building at 201 W. Colfax Ave.

Ryan Gedney
Ryan is a supervising economist with the Labor Market Information office in the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), overseeing a diverse range of economic programs and professionals. He analyzes economic trends in Colorado and the U.S. and is responsible for handling media and customer data requests, inquiries, and interviews. Ryan also evaluates data and generates forecasts related to Colorado’s unemployment insurance (UI) program and UI trust fund. Employed with CDLE since 2007, Ryan has experience as an analyst with the Occupational Employment Statistics and the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages programs.

Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Colorado State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Denver.
