Curious what's on the November ballot? Ballot measures this November address Legislative authority for spending state money, a marijuana tax increase to fund education enrichment, and a property tax assessment rate reduction. Anna Gerstle and Matt Bishop, fiscal analysts with Colorado's Legislative Council Staff, will provide an overview of this year's statewide ballot measures. Anna and Matt authored portions of the Blue Book voter guide that will soon arrive on your doorstep. You can access the Blue Book online at this link: https://leg.colorado.gov/content/initiatives/initiatives-blue-book-overview/ballot-information-booklet-blue-book

Anna Gerstle is a Senior Fiscal Analyst for Legislative Council Staff. She has been at LCS for six years, primarily focusing on K-12 education, school finance, higher education, and some business and property tax-related topics. She graduated from the University of Oregon and University of Colorado-Denver.

Matt Bishop is a Fiscal Analyst with Legislative Council Staff. He has spent the last three years with LCS, primarily focusing on capital construction, tax policy, and climate policy. He obtained his Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Michigan.
