DABE is excited to present our 2021 Summer Event:

Cities and Towns: Adapting to Uncertainty & Persistent Policies

In March of 2020, the world experienced a dramatic shift in business and social environments caused by the outbreak of COVID-19. Markets plunged and the community had to quickly adjust to a "new normal." At this year's summer event, DABE will explore the public and private reactions to covid in the context of a changing society overcoming adversity. We're excited to welcome an excellent panel:

Lucy Kay is the president of the Breckenridge Tourism Office. Before working at Breckenridge, Lucy was the director of marketing for Copper Mountain Resort. She brings a unique perspective on how the destination town overcame political and logistical obstacles to better serve the community.

Andrew Iltis is the director of mobility and transport at the Downtown Denver Partnership. He has a deep passion for understanding the linkages between economic development and urban mobility, and for bringing the right people to the table to collaborate around addressing complex transportation and urban development challenges in downtown Denver.

Megan Pierce is the economic vitality director for the City of Louisville, overseeing business retention, attraction, expansion, and support in that community.

The panel will be moderated by Clif Harald of First Flatiron Consulting. Prior to starting First Flatiron, Clif was the executive director of the Boulder Economic Council.
